The Public Health Department a strategic partner of the Asthma in the Workplace Center, hosted the meeting of partners and researchers held on April 19. We extend special thanks to Dr. Louise DeGuire for her extremely helpful cooperation in organizing the meeting. During this first meeting of year 4 for the Center, we were pleased to present to members the results of the 2007 scholarship and project competitions. The main item on the agenda was presenting the eight projects chosen for year 4. The principal investigators on each project for 2007 were invited to give brief presentations. The question period saw many lively and constructive exchanges among the researchers. At the next meeting, scheduled for July 5th , researchers who received funding in 2006 will give progress reports on their projects.
