We submitted an interesting number of applications to the Scientific Committee for the scholarship and project competitions, which had a March 9 deadline. We are pleased to announce the submissions that were approved by the committee and the Board of Directors.
For the scholarship competition , we received five applications in the postdoctoral fellow category, three in the master’s and Ph.D. student category, and one in the summer student category. The following students have been recommended to the Board of Directors by the Scientific Committee and will be receiving funding:
- Virginie Lafontaine, summer student, supervised by Karim Maghni Ph.D.;
- Bruno St-Jacques, master’s student, supervised by Karim Maghni Ph.D.;
- Samah Chiry, master’s student, supervised by Dr. Catherine Lemière;
- Sana Siddiqui, Ph.D. student, supervised by Dr. James Martin;
- Antje Kullowatz, postdoctoral fellow, supervised by Kim Lavoie Ph.D.;
